Our mission is to reduce the number of dogs in shelters by providing free training for dogs in homes and in shelters. Our goal is to ensure every dog has the opportunity to live a full life by providing tools, training, and resources for dogs and the people who love them
A Bit About Us
Training for Everyone
​​Here at Dragonfly Dogs, we see the value in everyone (humans and dogs alike!). We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in the Rogue Valley in Southern Oregon. It all started when our founder, Lauren, saw a need for affordable dog training and resources for people with all types of dogs ranging from new puppies to dogs with behavior trouble. She began working with dogs at OC Animal Care in California in 2018 and has since received her Canine Training and Behavior Specialist certification from the Animal Behavior Institute. She has worked with dogs in shelters and in homes ranging from basic puppy obedience to fear, reactivity, and more. Dragonfly Dogs is now growing so that Lauren's goal of offering training to anyone who needs it can be achieved. We are happy to offer in person training for local dog owners and virtual training and consultations for those out of the area. Read about our team in the Meet the Team section!
